Senior Data Governance Analyst

What is this position about? • Execute and support enterprise Data Governance initiatives and governance processes end to end • Create and maintain governance documentation, standards, and procedures • Perform data analysis and data profiling to identify quality issues and opportunities for improvement • Assist with metadata management activities, including documenting and maintaining business and technical metadata • Leverage AI-powered data governance tools to automate data classification and tagging, identify sensitive or non-compliant data, and support governance workflows • Monitor data assets for compliance with governance policies, identifying potential violations and recommending corrective actions • Support the implementation and validation of AI-assisted data retention, archival, and lifecycle management policies • Validate data governance controls and ensure compliance with established governance policies and regulatory requirements • Document business definitions, data rules, and governance requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders • Support data stewardship activities and contribute to improving data quality across critical data domains • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into governance documentation • Monitor governance activities and contribute to continuous process improvements • Communicate governance updates, findings, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
