This is a remote position.
Schedule: Flexible between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm CST, Monday through Saturday.
Total weekly hours: 20 hours
The client would like to schedule a 1–2 hour weekly meeting to review the engagement plan and analytics. Staff meetings will be scheduled later but will take place between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm CST, Monday through Thursday.
Create and publish digital content: Develop engaging text posts, images, and videos tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook, supporting our brand and mission. Run online fundraising promotions and challenges through these platforms.
Monitor and respond to online engagement: Track social media channels regularly to respond to comments, messages, and mentions, fostering positive online interactions.
Foster relationships with online followers: Encourage meaningful discussions and build strong relationships with the online community by identifying and celebrating creative users. Communicate with community partners, program members, and donors to increase engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams: Work with departments such as marketing or programs to ensure outreach and digital content align with overall organizational goals. Communicate issues and concerns to the management team.
Track performance metrics: Use web and social media analytics to monitor content performance, engagement, reach, and follower growth.
Compile reports: Regularly prepare and present reports on outreach efforts and social media performance.
Proven experience in social media management and digital content creation across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Business Suite.
Proficiency in Canva and short-form video editing (e.g., reels, stories) with the ability to produce engaging, on-brand content that supports outreach and fundraising campaigns.
Strong communication and community engagement skills, with the ability to interact professionally in English with diverse audiences including donors, partners, and program members.
Analytical skills with experience using social media insights and web analytics to track performance, measure engagement, and compile reports.
Collaborative and organized mindset, able to work effectively with internal teams, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to organizational goals within a part-time schedule.
Knowledge of Descript’s platform (helpful but not required).
Previous experience with nonprofits and fundraising.
Awareness of disability community issues and ableism.
