A company is looking for a Contract Specialist to join their contract management department in the health insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and distribute complex new and renewing custom member and employer contract documents
Conduct detailed analysis of incoming requests to ensure correct documents are issued
Research and respond to general and group-specific contract issues and create legal files
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Five years of experience in a customer service/public contact role with health plan document writing experience
AHIP or CEBS course work or other appropriate certification preferred
Two years of experience in the health care insurance field with knowledge of medical terminology
Demonstrated training/auditing skills
